Journey to Harmony U

Formed in 2012, the Limestone City Voices chorus is a vibrant group of women of all ages that, in just a few years, has won numerous regional awards and the hearts of music lovers in their community and abroad.

Affiliated with Harmony, Inc., as well as Sweet Adelines International, the chorus offers women the opportunity to learn and develop good singing skills, perform in casual and professional show settings in the community and abroad, experience the excitement of competition, and share in the commitment and camaraderie that’s born out of their fun-loving work ethic of ‘get over yourself!

Limestone City Voices Chorus has qualified for the 2018 Harmony Inc. international contest in Orlando, Florida this November; additionally, to the Sweet Adelines International Harmony Classic contest, in New Orleans, in September 2019.

Limestone City Voices is associated with both non-profit organizations striving to further the art form of barbershop harmony in North America and abroad. We look to enrich the lives of women of all ages and from all walks of life in our community.

We are looking to participate in, what is described as, "The ultimate education experience for singers, educators, directors and leaders".  In order that we can continue to leave people better for having met us and to continue our education in this art form, we are fundraising to send our entire, 25 member, chorus to Harmony University in 2020 to continue our growth and education.

Harmony University is a week long immersion in all things barbershop harmony and as our members are from all walks of life, students through retirees, the support that we receive through this campaign will take the 'price of admission' off of the table.  It will permit all of our membership to participate, fully, in this experience.
