Journey to Bernie

Friends and fellow organizers,

We are in a critical moment in this country and we have a real shot of electing Bernie Sanders as the next President. This is the most critical part of the 2020 Democratic campaign.  Every organizing conversation matters and every vote matters. Let's not leave anything on the table!

We have already raised enough money from this fundraiser to help 4 organizers pay for travel costs and get to Iowa (specifically, the first $1350 of this fundraiser paid for four flights to Iowa)! They knocked on hundreds of doors and we know that their efforts and the efforts of other out of state organizers like them helped make the difference. Bernie won Iowa folks!

We have several upcoming primaries that we need to keep organizing for, especially Nevada and California.  Other organizers want to get to those states to knock on doors for Bernie Sanders, and others would like to go but can’t afford it. So we are continuing to raise money here that will help organizers get to Nevada and California. We raised the bar for the fundraiser to $4800 to help MORE organizers get to where the campaign needs them
