Our Journey to Sobriety

We are on a journey for sobriety for ourselves and to spread awareness about addiction. We lost everything after the epidemic and layoffs. He had to quit college, a dream of his. I missed the birth of my grandchild. Lost our cars and eventually was evicted. We sunk into the chaos of addiction after that. He finally decided enough was enough and we needed to get ourselves together. We were on the streets of Ogden,Utah. He decided we were going to see my grandbaby one way or another. So we started walking with the clothes on our back and some mail. Along the way we have accumulated things we need by the grace of god and generosity of strangers. We walked 30 miles in three days and caught a ride the rest of the way to idaho to see my grandbaby. Now we are headed back to my family in Ohio. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and hadn't seen him in 10 years. Along our journey we have given our lives to the Lord and are trying our best to get back on our feet. We have had our IDs and SS cards stolen and replacing them has been virtually impossible. We are wanting to start a non profit foundation for people in need and was hoping that you can help us with that dream. First we want to get back on our feet and with your help I can replace our identification and get back to work. Then hoping to start spreading the good lords word and drug awareness. Being a helping hand to those who are struggling wether it be drug addiction, homelessness and even victims of crime. Giving them a foundation to stand on. Thank you all for your love and support!
