Journey for Bernie Portland OR to Reno NV!

Hi Everyone,
My name is Max! My friend Zee and I have organized not 1, not 2 but 10 people to go knock doors for Bernie in Reno for the Nevada caucus! We will be driving from Portland Oregon to Reno Nevada for the last 2 days leading up to the caucus and will also be there on caucus day (Feb 22nd) to work non stop for Bernie. Unfortunately some folks in our group do not have the funds to cover their portion of the cost for accommodation, gas and food - so we have decided to post this go fund me and ask for help from our Bernie family!
Here is a little bit about each person in our group that is going and needs financial assistance:
Max (me!) - I've spent the past month in Iowa working for Bernie's field team. I believe in this campaign with all of my heart and feel that I couldn't be doing anything else more important with my time. I suffer from a chronic illness and have several friends who are already facing the reality of living their entire life in student debt. I want to fight with everything that I have to make a better world for all of us.
Zee - Zee has loved Bernie since she first saw him on C-SPAN in 2010 when he presented an all day filibuster. She left graduate school in 2015 to organize for Sanders 2016 campaign, where she organized mostly in New York and Virginia. Since Sanders last run for office she has spent her time working for other progressives that share Bernie's values such as AOC, Jessica Ramos and Tim Canova. Since Bernie's announcement for 2020 she has launched 54 canvasses for Bernie in Portland and is excited to continue working to organize the political revolution!
Eli - Eli found out about Bernie in 2015 and was excited to find out that there was a candidate that was invested in making corporations pay their fair share in taxes and would stand up for the working poor. He knocked thousands of doors for Bernie in New York City in 2016 to spread the word and wants to continue the fight for justice by helping Bernie get to the white house in 2020.
Andrés - Andrés marched for Bernie in Philadelphia at the 2016 DNC. But he never made phone calls, knocked doors, or volunteered for Bernie’s 2016 campaign; that all changed when Donald Trump took the presidency. This time around, Andrés has been working to do everything humanly possible to see America recognize the stakes and come together to elect President Bernie Sanders.
Our costs that we need to cover includes:
$1,100 - Accommodation (Airbnb)
$200 - Gas
$200 - Food
Even if you can only donate $5, it would mean so much to us. Getting as many people as we can out to these early states is how we win!!!
