It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved cousin Josue Zurita(Cochito).
On Monday October 16, 2017, after about one week of battling the Harvey flood flesh eating bacteria, Josue was finally succumbed to Necrotizing Fascitis infection, while being treated at Jennie Sealy UTMB Hospital in Galveston. Josue was born September 1, 1986 in Oaxaca,Mexico.
A hard working carpenter, he was a 31 years old devoted Catholic, a loyal husband and a loving father. He moved to United States to help and support his family back in Mexico. He was living away from his 29 years old wife Gloria and his 11 years old daughter named Carolina to work hard and save money to support them.
Everybody remembers Josue for his smile and happy laughs. He was always smiling. He loved life and was loved by all his relatives and friends. One of his final wishes was to be buried in his beloved hometown of Miahuatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. For his hospital stay, medical and funeral expenses, this memorial fundraising at GoFundMe was setup by his cousin Brenda Anastacio Zurita. Thank you.

Es con gran tristeza y corazones pesados que anunciamos con gran tristeza y corazones pesados que anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido primo Josue Zurita (Cochito).
El lunes 16 de octubre de 2017, después de aproximadamente una semana de luchar contra la bacteria harvey flood eating, Josue finalmente sucumbió a la infección por fascitis necrosante mientras recibía tratamiento en Jennie Sealy UTMB Hospital en Galveston.
Josue nació el 1 de septiembre de 1986 en Oaxaca, México. Un carpintero trabajador, era un católico devoto de 31 años, un leal esposo y un padre amoroso. Se mudó a Estados Unidos para ayudar y mantener a su familia en México. Él vivía lejos de su esposa Gloria de 29 años y su familia en México. Él vivía lejos de su esposa Gloria de 29 años y su hija de 11 años llamada Carolina para trabajar duro y ahorrar dinero para mantenerlos. Todos recuerdan a Josue por su sonrisa y sus risas felices.
Él siempre estaba sonriendo. Amaba la vida y era amado por todos sus parientes y amigos. Uno de sus últimos deseos fue ser enterrado en su amada ciudad natal de Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, México.
