Josiah's Orchestra Trip to Greece!

Hello everyone!
My name is Josiah Kohlmeyer, I am currently a Senior at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and am a member of the nationally and internationally acclaimed Concordia College Orchestra!
Outside of the classroom, I work part time at Concordia College's IT Solution Center. I also serve my country as a member of the Minnesota Air National Guard which is a component of the United States Air Force. Between school, work, and the military, life is quite busy!
This coming May, the Concordia Orchestra and I have the amazing opportunity to take our orchestra on tour to Greece! This 12 day tour will take us through Thessoloniki, Kalambaka, Itea, Delphi, Patras, Olympia, Nafplio, and end with Athens! Included in this trip will be guided sightseeing tours of: the White Tower, the Galerius Arch, the Rotunda, the Arghio Demetrius Byzantine church, Vergina (the first caital of ancient kingdom of Macedonia), Byzantine Meteora monasteries, the ancient sanctuary of Apollo, and the Roman Temple of Zeus, just to name a few things. We will also be having performances in Thessaloniki, Itea, Patras, and Athens!
On top of this trip, I hope to stay in Europe for approximately 2 weeks (locations TBD) to take in as many sites and experiences before starting my post-collegiate career.
This trip for me is both educational and life fulfilling for me, and your donation would fill my heart with gladness. Ancient Greek Mythology has always been a close and personal interest of mine. Ancient Greece has also shaped many aspects of our life today: Democracy, Western philosphical thinking, Theatre, the Olympics, and beautiful Architecture! To see all this in person is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Unfortunately, this amazing opportunity does not come free. In years past, Concordia College provided money to the music ensembles to help ease the financial burden of these trips. Due to continuing budget cuts across all of Concordia, this is the first year that Concordia College is not assisting music ensembles with these kinds of trips. That forces us students to shoulder more of the cost. Couple that with rising tuition costs every year since I've started school, there is not a lot extra money to be able to put towards this trip.
Because of all this, I could never thank anyone enough for even the smallest of donations to me and my trip. If you donate a dollar, bless you and if you donate more, bless you as well.
