Help FAMILY w/paralyzed son JOSH

Hello Family & Friends, Supporters and just overall caring people...

This GoFundMe Campaign is set up due to some major family crisis we are experiencing. I am Mother to 3 wonderful children. One being disabled due to a freak injury in 2010 leaving him paralyzed. After finding the perfect-Fit house for our family, especially for Josh and his needs...we are now just 1.5 years later in danger of losing our home.
Josh who is quadriplegic, has experienced many health complications over the past couple of years and most recently was hospitalized for various conditions with the most serious being a heart attack at 25 yrs old, leaving him with a weak heart. He is also diabetic, a result of his paralysis.
As a result, I (Mom) have had to leave my 13 year good paying job a few months back as it became to difficult to juggle both for Josh and myself. Which has put my family in really bad financial strain.
Our Home that we modified for Joshs disability needs is not just "another" home...it has become a safe haven for Josh with all that he must deal with.

I am desperate to remain in our home mainly for Joshs sake! This is all very distressing for all of us and I wish I could take away the stress Josh feels which is not good for his heart, by being able to find a way to remain in our Home. My Goal is to be able to save and remain in our home and also return to a job where it is flexible and works with all the Needs that Josh and my daughters require.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our campaign.
Below are more details about Josh and his injury.
You can find Josh's story on his website:

www.joshuahsjourneytorecovery.com

as well as find him on Facebook. Just search joshuahsjourneytorecovery on facebook.
You may donate by this GOFUNDME site, or his website, Or you may walk into any Wells Fargo Bank and give them the name "Joshuahs Journey to Recovery" in Chesapeake and donate in his "Donation" account set up at the Bank.
I'd like to add that setting up this GOFUNDME page caused me to struggle with my Pride in which I am not a fan of throwing personal problems out for the world to see, however, my LOVE for my kids overpowered that and helped me to Reach out and ask for help that we so badly require, in our time of need. I am scared to be honest with you all, with Josh and all that he requires I have no idea where we would end up. My fear is that if we are forced to move from our home, that we may have to separate somehow, My kids and I. I just dont know what kind of outcome would happen, but I know it would not be a positive one. Thank you so much for taking your time to read our life situation.

Either way, Josh, myself and our family want to Thank You in advance for reading over this Campaign Need, Donating, and Caring.

This is the story of a wonderful son of mine named Josh that suffered a spinal cord injury in 2010 at just 21 years old, leaving him Quadriplegic. Josh has lost the use of his arms, hands, legs, feet. He also lost the fuction of his urinary system and bowels. He must be cathed regularly to prevent urinary backup and UtI's as well as have daily assistance with bowel movements.
Josh is on a daily morning, noon and night medication regiman (in which I maintain all of this) AND still manage to keep my fulltime job of 10 years at the time. Trust me when I say, that was a challenge!
I must mention that Josh did and still does have an Aid come in during the day to help make breakfast and lunch and do light cleaning in his room as well as assist in washing his clothes. It is helpful BUT...the aids are NOT ALLOWED to Cath him or assist in any toiletry. They are NOT ALLOWED to give him any Medications. So this is some help to have them here of course, but not alot of help since it majorly constricts my days for work, etc.
With an SCI (spinal cord injury) Not only do you lose your mobility, but with spinal cord injuries you also must face chronic nerve pain from the level of injury site on down. Josh & I both feel so helpless, most of the medications do not take it away 100% by far.
Josh's level of injury is C4 & C5 which is a high cervical break. I am thankful it wasnt just 1 vertebrea higher or he would be on an oxygen pump.
As you can imagine, this injury devastated the entire family. As a Mother, it broke my heart in pieces and even though I am a fairly strong person, I still live with sadness on the daily.
Before Josh's injury he had gone through school and became an Automotive Mechanic, lived out on his own independantly, paid all his own bills, I could not have been prouder of him!
I must say now, that I am so, so proud of him as each day he must live with little to No mobility brings on new challenges and new pain he must struggle with. For the most part, Josh stays positive
and looks forward to a brighter future, hopefully a cure for all that must live with this devastating life changing injury.
With this horrible life changing injury it took away alot from Josh, after spending 7 weeks in therapy while they taught him how to attempt to live the way he is forced to live, they also taught me the basics for caring for my son. I was now a nurse in many aspects.
My NEW LIFE, was transporting him from bed to power wheel chair, from wheelchair to bed or vice versa. Was feeding him, giving him a drink, preparing all of this as well, cathing him to relieve urine every 4 to 6 hours, assisting him in bowel movements, cleaning him, dressing him, brushing teeth, hair, exercise like stretching his limbs so that they do not tighten too much. Bed bathing him, which sorta Finally brings me to what this Donation page is all about!
Unfortunately, I cant shorten this story up but so much...its a long story with alot of details. I really cant even begin to describe all the emotions I as a Mother feel on a daily basis for my child having to now live this way.
When Josh was first injured, my husband of just 3 years and I lived with Josh's 2 Preteen sisters in a much smaller house then we are in today.
At the time that we "rented" the house, it was to be for a short time until we decided where we wanted to buy a house from again, where we wanted to settle.
We worked hard and were able to purchase the perfect house for all of us, especially for JOSH with his disability. The house already had an addition built on with a bathroom in which we modified from a basic bathroom with a tub to a Beautiful Roll-in Shower for Josh. We made quite a few modifications to the house to bring a little bit of convenience to our lives and put a smile on Joshs face! The changes we added to our home have also helped me as far as doing less lifting and pulling. We also added a small above ground pool for Josh this past summer as it is very therapeutic for Josh to do water therapy. Josh and I both enjoy the pool and his water stretches/excersices.
