Joshua Luke Operation Heart

Donation protected
Hello everyone!
My name is Seonah,  a close friend of the Thomas family (Ann and Jinu Thomas) and Joshua Luke's Korean aunt ;) Ann and I met in our medical school, we were roommates, then became sisters from a different mother, then fellow mommies now of 2 kids!  I have been, and continued to be blessed by overwhelmed by the prayer support that Joshua Luke has been receiving for his heart surgery! And in the end, I firmly believe it is your prayers that is truly sustaining him and the Thomas family.

For those who may not know the details, Joshua Luke was born with a highly fatal heart condition- Hypoplastic Left ventricle.  Surgery to correct this condition has high mortality, and guaranteed multiple surgeries.
He underwent his first surgery soon after he was born at Children's Hospital of Philidelphia, then intermittently he had some complications requiring cardiac cath, then in October of this year, he underwent a scheduled 2nd heart surgery called Fontan.  Through much heartache, yet miracle, Joshua Luke has survived through the 2nd surgery, with some post op complication requiring him to be rehospitalized due to fluid build up in his lungs, but by the Grace of God, he is temporarily discharged for now, and now we are hoping this fluid will not build back up, in which if it does, he may require even a more complicated surgery to prevent the fluid build up.
For those of you who can imagine- the hospital bill/surgery cost for these surgeries have been enormous (in the millions). Fortunately, they do have insurance coverage, however the coverage only covers 90%. So 10% of this bill, as you assume, can be quite overwhelming. Cost not only covering the surgery, but post op complication hospital stays, then intermittent cardiac cath, echo's, etc.

I have been blessed already to see the power of prayer in sustaining Joshua so far and the Thomas family, but now I direly ask you to extend this prayer support through financial means.

I know that every dollar amount would mean so much and lessen that much financial burden for this family.

So would you join me?

Thank you so much for reading and for your support!

Love,
Seonah

*addendum/ update: unfortunately joshua has been rehospitalized as of 11.18.16 for build up of fluid so it looks like he will be getting evaluated for the lymphatic surgery. please continue to pray for them!!
