                                                             THE JOSHUA INDORF SCHOLARSHIP FUND
~For an academically striving student aspiring to be a mechanic like Joshua Indorf was~

We need your help….

Joshua G. Indorf, Jr. also known as “J.R.” was a Junior at Roy C. Ketcham high school when he was tragically killed in a car accident on November 1, 2017.

JR had a smile that would light up the room. He was a confident, positive and genuinely happy young man.  JR was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.  He was not a large person in stature but stood up for himself and others when they could not.  He was the “leader of the pack”, motivating and including everyone in his adventures.

Although he struggled with book work, JR was very intelligent and insightful, having the ability even at a young age, to construct or repair with little or no direction.  He was just naturally, mechanically inclined.  JR loved motocross racing. He spent most of his free time upgrading or repairing his motorcycle or any other engine he could get his hands on. He was always tinkering with something; there, lying his true passion.  It was obvious to all who knew him that he was born to be a mechanic.

When memorializing, people tend to embellish positive character traits. I assure you that I have not done that here. In fact, I most definitely have inadequately described the exceptional person that JR was. I can only sum it up like this, I am a better person for knowing him. That was his gift to all.  Over and above all, Joshua was a caring big brother, loving and respectful, son and best friend to his parents.

JR’s friends and family have established, The Joshua Indorf Scholarship Fund. This Scholarship Fund will be awarded to graduating students who are aspiring to continue their education in mechanics, as was JR’s plan. Our goal is to reach the minimum funds, which will allow this scholarship to be awarded on an annual basis.  We are asking for donations for this fund. Any monetary amount is accepted and appreciated. We would like to keep JR’s dream alive by helping another future mechanic follow their passion in JR’s memory.

~Thank you for your time and   attention to this matter~
