Hi , My name is Joshua Breslin (15), I am a 3rd year student in Oatlands College in Stillorgan. I have been giving the amazing opportunity to travel to Tanzania with my school to support the amazing Terretta Foundation. This trip is taking place in October 2025. This journey to Tanzania will not only help me and my classmates gain first hand experience in a diverse cultural environment, but it will also give us the chance to make a real impact by contributing to the building of a school for the local children.

The Terretta Foundation is a Non-Profit, self sustaining initiative focused on supporting vulnerable children through education, healthcare and infrastructure. They believe that "every child deserves a chance to live a life free from fear and full of possibility". They have currently built one classroom and a dormitory providing a home for 48 children. The foundation aims to eventually be able to accommodate 96 at risk children in dormitory style housing.

During our trip our group will help support the Foundations efforts by helping to build a new classroom and buying much needed supplies for the local people. We plan to visit a local disability center where they create custom wheelchairs for children. Additionally we will visit a local maternity hospital and hopefully deliver much needed supplies to new mothers and their babies.

To make all this happen I am going to need your help. The total cost of the trip is €3500, this covers travel to Tanzania, accommodation and project expenses as well as essential supplies for this amazing Charity.. Your support will not only help get me there but will also contribute to the success of the Terretta Foundations goals.
