Joshs step in the right direction

Hello, my name is Chris Peachey. I am Josh and Chelsea’s grandmother. I am making this go fund me page because they have came into contact with some unforeseen circumstances with Josh’s health. A little back story, Josh and Chelsea got married in June of 2022 and bought a house in July together. Their life was absolutely perfect and then a tragedy happened on August 15th, 2022. Josh arrived at his job site, collapsed and started having a seizure. He was taken by ambulance to HCMC where they ran MRI’s, CT’s and many other tests. They believed the seizure was due to a medication they had put him on for anxiety and depression. Josh suffered a traumatic brain injury from his seizure, a concussion, and is battling hearing and vision issues. Between seeing a neurologist, a primary doctor, a speech therapist and a therapy doctor at least 1x per week if not 2x per week, Josh’s medical bills are also piling up. Josh got the news no hard working family man wants to get, he is unable to work/drive for 3 months putting him into November 2022. Chelsea is working full time but nowhere near enough money for her own bills, Josh’s bills as well as those medical bills that are coming in. Josh got approval to go back to work on November 15th, 2022 and ended up having another seizure the next day. My great grandson found Josh having the 2nd seizure, Josh was then rushed by ambulance to the hospital and many tests ran again, they have no answers for the cause of this last seizure. And because of this last seizure they are having to start all over again with getting/finding answers. Josh is unable to work and drive now until March 2023, only as long as he is seizure free and approved by all doctors that he is seeing neurology, speech therapy, primary care and his psychiatrist. Due to the laws in Minnesota, after having a seizure you can not drive for 3 months. They don't qualify for any county and or state assistance. 

Josh and Chelsea are now stuck with trying to get him to these doctors appointments to find out why this is happening as well as trying to juggle being parents to Weston and getting the bills paid. Josh has a very long road ahead of him but we can not lose hope. We will find out why this is happening and get the old Josh back. 

HCMC has not been very helpful with giving them answers on why this is happening. They are wanting to get a 2nd opinion so Chelsea is going to take Josh to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester but the neurology department can not get him in until February 2023. So for now we continue to pray for him, Chelsea will continue taking him to HCMC until getting him in at Mayo Clinic. 

Josh and Chelsea are never ones to ask for help but I am asking on their behalf because I have been watching them struggle mentally and emotionally. I would like to see them in a place where they don't have to worry so much about the bills and can just focus on getting answers for Josh.
