<div>Raising money for Sports Parkinson’s, Wales Golf Team. A charity that is close to my heart.

<div><strong>Why?</strong>
</div>
<div>My father-in-law Phil Howe, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in March 2020 at the age of 66.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Parkinson's is a progressive neuro degenerative disease. 1 in 37 people in the UK are likely to get it in their lifetime.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Phil focuses on keeping fit; exercise alleviates his Parkinson’s symptoms. He plays golf, attends weekly Parkinson's Warrior classes &amp; uses the gym. He has recently taken up walking football &amp; plays snooker &amp; darts with his Parkinson’s friends to aid hand &amp; eye coordination. Phil attends the Sandville Self Help Centre weekly.

<div>For the past four years, a team of ten Welsh Parkinson’s golfers have participated in the Sport Parkinson’s Four Nations Golf Tournament at The Belfry. The Welsh team have won the tournament twice, the only team to do so!

<div>Phil captained the team on the second victory; and is joining the team again this year. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Team Wales are are fundraising for 2026, where all the money raised will go towards Sport Parkinson’s &amp; the Sandville Centre - encouraging others battling Parkinson's to 'keep active &amp; strong 'til a cure comes along'.
