1 Year Missions Trip Ivory Coast, Africa

Hello friends!
I am glad that this letter has reached you safely and that you are doing well. I am excited to tell you about the beginning of a new chapter in my life. As some of you may or may not know, I am graduating Rutgers University this May. And at the end of June/beginning of July, I am returning to Ivory Coast, Africa for the fifth time to serve on an one year long-term mission trip alongside Korean Abidjan Presbyterian Church (KAPC) and Missionary Paek (who has been serving there for 15 years now).
Ivory Coast is a country very much in need of God's love as it is torn apart by poverty and political instability. From the four previous visits, I've grown a heart for the Ivorians because they are so hospitable, loving, and joyful in the midst of their suffering and hardships. To me, that is beautiful, admirable, and inspiring. As poverty increases in this nation, those who do not know the gospel are still living in darkness, struggling with finding stable jobs and providing for themselves and their families. I can't offer them much. But the only thing that I can offer them is hope in our Lord and Savior. It's an exciting time to go as there has been stability for the country recent years and a lot of Pastor Paek and KAPC's ministry has been bearing fruit.
Initially, I refused the idea of serving on an one year long-term mission trip when Pastor Paek suggested it to me three years ago. But as some may personally know my situation, God has lead me through a season of brokenness the past three years of my life. It's been crazy but so good. A few months ago, I came to realize that God's fingerprints has been on everything the past years all to prepare and lead me to this point in my life-I'm excited for what's in store.
During my one year stay there, I will be serving in three different ways: 1.) teaching English to the Ivorian seminary students, Ivorian pastors, and local/ native children 2.) helping out and teaching English to the KAPC Korean Youth Group and Sunday School kids 3.) participating and helping out in the summer missions projects in summer of 2014 and 2015 as New Mercy Community Church partners with KAPC for two and a half weeks of short-term missions where we host revivals, medical missions, street evangelisms, and VBS.
I would love for you to partner with me for this trip either financially or in prayer or both! The cost of this trip is $10,000: ($2000-Plane ticket, $200-Visa, $300-Vaccinations and Malaria Medication, $7500-Living Expenses). If you could help support me financially, I would be grateful no matter the amount. Above all else, please keep me in your prayers. My prayer requests: 1.) Spirit of boldness, faithfulness, and love for the whole year of serving with KAPC and local churches 2.) my sun allergies (My skin is VERY sensitive to the sun. Honestly, this skin condition of mine is going to be difficult to deal with all year long. But I have faith that God will have a purpose for sending me to country full of sun for a year!) Please help send me out!
