Surgery for Josh!

Money may not be able to "buy happiness", but it can SAVE A LIFE! In 2006, Josh Beard was diagnosed with Factor Five Leiden - a blood clotting disorder which has caused him to suffer multiple pulmonary embolisms. A filter was placed to help with any future clots entering his lungs. Up until a few months ago, he hadn't experienced any more problems since then. That all changed in September of 2013 when the doctors discovered a clot so massive, it was stopping his blood flow completely. After multiple stays in the ICU and taking two prescription shots a day ($100 a piece) the doctors still haven't gained control over Josh's disorder. He now needs surgery in Utah to replace the filter that keeps him alive. Josh and Breanne already owe thousands upon thousands of dollars to the hospital, and Josh has been forced to miss a lot of work due to his illness. $5 may seem like a drop in the bucket, but every drop counts!
