Josh Marlowe 3rd Hip Replacement

The life of a professional skateboarder and one of the best roofers/metal fabricators in Colorado, Maryland, and the USA left Josh Brandon Marlowe now 55 disabled w excruciating, chronic back pain! In 2010 it was ultimately determined that he needed a hip replacement. This in itself took too many years to get approved by Medicare thru his disability health insurance which left Josh unable to work and bent over in half for several years! Once he finally had his first hip surgery it was evidently botched unbeknownst to him and while crossing the road he tripped the hip was wound too tightly it broke and burst apart! On that  day he had to be emergency helicoptered  medivacced to Johns Hopkins Hospital  to have his artificial hip removed and subsequently have another hip replacement.  Afterwards, the surgery got infected many many times due to unclean health care and delayed recovery times at the nursing home. Then he was prescribed opiates and this presented a whole new array of problems and setbacks! Luckily he overcame the circumstances due to the prescribed medication and rehabilitated himself.  Unfortunately recently he suffered yet another case of sepsis and  the decision was made to remove his newest hip altogether!  The extensive series of surgeries to the tune of $10,000-$50,000 each left a 17 in laceration/gap that took an agonizing  6 months to heal!  After almost a year in the nursing home I (his x wife) urged him to come Florida to rest recuperate enter into and complete a state certified detox program,  at home rehabilitation and recovery time w me on the ocean where he spent 6 months clean under strict and meticulous supervision!  When he arrived he was emaciated and extremely underweight but with love and care I managed to pack 40 lbs onto him in 60 days with only organic and homeopathic remedies! He also entered into Pain Management, and was then able to consistently practice physical therapy and peacefully re examine himself and cope with his current circumstances. In Jan 2017 He left Florida w a clean bill of health to return to Baltimore to be closer to his doctor in the hopes of having his hip replaced for a 3rd and final time! Unfortunately after more scraping and testing of the bone he was reinfected w bacteria and he endured  yet 3 more difficult lengthy surgeries back to back leaving him w several long open lesions in his hip/leg! He is healing again from all of this emotionally and physically so they will put his hip back in now that he is in better health, god willing, and god speed in February 2019!!  Josh is still in a lot of pain and has no real means to work or generate reliable steady income at this time as he is in a wheel chair and using a walker.  He has a live in caretaking arrangement however he could still use all of the help and support that he can get to stay in good health, to eat well, and to make it to his next tentiively scheduled 3rd hip surgery in February 2019 in order to reinsert his artificial hip again. As the holidays are approaching this is all I can ask for. I believe with all my heart he will be permanently healed forever and be a valuable member of his community and a good father to his beautiful daughter Phoebe! I hope you all pray for him,  believe in him, and send support for housing meals, proper medication etc!  This will be his 3rd artificial hip replacement but a total of 13 surgeries altogether!
