Hello Friends,
Josh and Laura Thompson, dear friends of mine for over 20 years, were one of the many thousands of people in Houston who suffered flooding to their homes once the reservoirs were opened. Their home took in a great deal of water and is going to be inaccessible for a few weeks. Unfortunately, like most Houstonians—they were not covered by flood insurance since nothing remotely ever came close to this flood.
Once they get back into the house—they will have lots of repairs to make and items to replace. Although both are resourceful people—this is going to be a challenge for Josh and Laura to do on their own. If you’d like to help them—here is your chance do so.
This has been a terrible tragedy for thousands, but there have also been countless beautiful acts of kindness and support for victims across Houston and Texas.
