Josh & his family need some help

In late September Josh was put on the top of the liver transplant list & on October 2nd with a short notice of less than an hour, Josh and his wife Alyshia boarded a plane and flew to Toronto from Sioux Lookout, leaving the kids behind with Alyshia's parents.

 

On October 4th Josh underwent an emergency liver transplant. Unfortunately there were many complications during the surgery and even more afterwards.

Josh has been in Toronto ICU on life support since.

Alyshia has been and continues to be by his side to support and care for him. She will be off work for an undetermined time to continue to do this.

 

Due to all the complications it seems this may be a very long journey of recovery, the doctors are indicating around 6 months with 2 of them spent in the hospital.

 

We are reaching out to his family and friends for some help. We understand these can be tough financial times for many. But if any can spare a small amount to help out that would be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

 

We are hoping to raise enough to cover bills and to be sure to keep their home and stable life intact for Josh, Alyshia, Aryannah & Chayton. So when this trial is over, life can carry on.
