I am Suzanne Beals best friend. Her new husband Josh Beal had a horrible firework accident and has been flown to UT to go to surgery. Josh has lost most of the tissue on his hand as well as several small injuries. Josh has no health insurance and will likely be out of work for a good while. If you can help in any way please do. This couple I still in the newlywed phase and are such happy loving people to anyone who is blessed to know them. Josh has 2 children as well and races as a hobby. This will greatly affect his family and that's all he was worried about as we waited for medics was everyone else. Prayers appreciated.

Josh had his first surgery shortly after arriving. Pins and screws were placed to repair the hole blown in hand. He had several holes all over his body from the firework. A hole in his forehead,a Mike Tyson bite out of his ear and a cut in the corner of his eyelid. The Dr said everything was "almost" he "almost" lost his hand,he "almost" lost his eye. He has a long way to go. Sadly the Dr said he will likely never drive a raceway again. He is in a lot of pain and sleeping a lot but by the Grace of God he is still with us and still has his sense of humor. He was telling us how now his ear can double as a bottle opener and that he looked like Rambo lol. Please continue prayers and donate,share and most of all pray. Not only are they going to be without his income for awhile but Suzanne is missing work as well as he has more surgeries ahead. Thank you so much.

Hey guys I wanted to post this so friends can see. We aren’t done just yet.
So orthopedic Dr Harris came in just now. He wants to call in a plastic surgeon today. He told me his name but he's really good here at UT. States he don't want him to go home with a open wound on that hand for risk of infection. They are gonna do another surgery before he goes home. I would vote tomorrow sometime. He says it's the best bet while he's here. It's a skin flap so it covers that hand and it will be sutured. No more wound vac. Josh is so strong but I'm loosing it. Seeing him likes this breaks my heart. So we are here at UT the doctor said thru the week. I have no details on the other surgery. The plastic surgeon is supposed to consult today sometime. I'll keep everyone posted. But please pray for us. Anyone that wants to be here when he goes to surgery I'll lyk when.
