Joseph's Clinical Trial

My 15 year old son, Joseph was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma , ASPS (Stage 4) in 2015. His mother and I were able to get him into a clinical trial in Miami Florida at the Sylvester Comprehensive Center in 2016. It was the only place that had a trial where Joseph could get in because of his age at the time of diagnosis(13) and status wise for his cancer. We started a fund raising site to help pay for travel and lodging, but the costs had exceeded any funds we had raised.
We have been to Florida off and on every month during 2016. We live in Michigan.
Now we have the opportunity to participate in a new more promising clinical drug trial , again at Sylvester in Miami. This clinical trial is to test the combination of two drugs in patients with alveolar soft parts sarcoma. One drug, Keytruda, stops cancer cell from shutting off the normal immune system. The other drug fights cancer cell by danmaging blood vessels that provide blood and energy to cancer cells.
The cancer is stable now but we are awaiting the results of a chest CT to see if that is still the case. His oncologist wants Joseph to stay in Miami for 14 straight weeks so she can observe him for side effects and tolerance of the new chemotherapy. His mother and I both work, but cannot each take 14 straight weeks off work. Due to me working and the lack of space at the Ronald Mc donal House , I fly down every three weeks to be there for his infusions and spend time Joseph. Joseph and his mom are staying at the Miami Ronald McDonald House. So the money will be used to get transportation to and from Miami as well as lodging for the 14 weeks. We started the new drug trial in Nov 2017.
We are looking for help to defray some of the cost for our back and forth travels.
