I have been a paraplegic from 18 months old when a doctor put me through an unnecessary procedure. Nevertheless I make my own way through life.
I need a new wheelchair accessible van. I qualify for a grant that helps with the adaptive equipment (the ramp, hand controls, etc.), so that I wouldn't have to transfer into and out of the van to the chair every time I need to drive. I need to provide the actual van. I was advised that the most compatible vans are Chrysler Town and Countries, and so I have to raise about $25,000 in addition to the grant money.
