Hello! I made this page for my brother Joe. As most of you know, he has been struggling with kidney failure for a long time. On top of going to dialysis, and dealing with pain on a daily basis, he is now challenged with monstrous expenses. After the kidney transplant, he will need weekly follow-up visits to the hospital in Rochester, (a 3 hour drive) for at least the first few months. His girlfriend Kristen will need to take a lot of time off work to shuttle him back and forth to each visit. She is a hard-working mom of a beautiful young daughter, and also takes care of Joe. I'm asking for your support to help alleviate the cost of travel expenses, hotel stays, food, missed work, etc.
In addition, Joe will need to take anti-rejection meds for the rest of his life. They cost roughly $5000 a month, and Medicare helps, but he will still have co-pays for pain meds, etc. Thank you for your love and support. We are extremely grateful. Even the smallest contribution is very much appreciated.
