IN MEMORIAM - CHEF JOSEPH WESTON
Joseph Sidney Weston, 45, beloved Brother, Uncle, Friend, Colleague and US Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at home.
Born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Sidney Joseph and Janice Marie (Hochfelder) Weston, he grew up and spent most of his life in South Bound Brook, NJ before settling to Raritan.
Joseph attended Bound Brook High School before graduating from Somerset County Vo-Tech in Bridgewater, NJ Class of 1989. He earned his degree from Hudson County Community College. Joseph faithfully served his country with the United States Army.
Joseph loved to cook and that passion led him to his career as chef de cuisine for the Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, NJ. In his youth he enjoyed fishing. He was an accomplished billiards player having played in many organized leagues.
Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Sidney and Helen Weston; and his maternal grandmother, Francis Distlecamp. Joseph is survived by a dear sister, Janice M. Weston of Raritan; adored nieces, Ella and Gracie Weston; and his loving special companion, Irena Arguios.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, July 1 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with family and friends officiating services at 12:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to his nieces' college funds.
We ask that you keep Joe, his family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult period.
