Joseph L.G. Mone Memorial Scholarship Fund

As our community mourns the loss of Joseph L.G. Mone, we cannot think of a better way to celebrate his legacy than to establish the “Music Matters" Memorial Scholarship in his name. He touched so many lives with his passion for music. And his dedication to his students and music education was immeasurable. We believe he would be honored to provide an opportunity to music students attending Cooperstown Central School (Cooperstown, NY) and Laurens Central School (Laurens, NY), where he gave a large part of his life.

Monies from this fund will be used to provide scholarships for a senior high school music department individual from each district pursuing higher education. The more money raised, the more years the scholarship can remain active.

Your donations will shine a light on the importance of music in the schools and honor a man who positively affected the lives of so many over the years!
