Hi my name is Josee Doyon and I am from Quebec, Canada.  I am 27 years old. I have been a professional golfer since November 2016.  I competed as an amateur golfer with the National Canadian Team during the summer of 2016 and I graduated from Kent State University with 2 B.A.s in Political Sciences and Criminal Justice in spring 2016. During my NCAA Career I was awarded 1st-team All MAC honours all of my four years, I was four times a WGCA All-Scholar and 3 times an Academic All-MAC. I contributed to 15 division 1 Team victories including four MAC Conference championships. I also won 3 NCAA Division 1 indivual championships and hold many school records for my time at Kent State. 2019 was a great professional year and I just qualified for the 2nd stage of the LPGA Qualifier school.  I just won another professional event in Georgia - the Fall’s Classic Women Open at the Golf club of Georgia.

Here are some of my accomplishments!
Made my 1st cut on Symetra in California with scores of 72,73,74
July 10th-11th: Helene Desmarais Memphremagog Cup - Winner by 7 strokes with scores of 72 and 72 July 25th-27th: Tennessee Women Open - 2nd/50 with scores of 71-73-70 August 13-15th: NWGA Tour, Arnold Palmer course, California - 4th/60 with scores of 69-73-69 July 16-17th: Illinois Women Open - T5th/43 with scores of 75-71-74 June 24-26th: Michigan Women Open - T9th/60 with scores of 71-74-71 August 7-9th: NWGA Dinah Shore -T12/45 with scores of 77-71-73 Many other tournaments were played in 2019 but my proudest accomplishment is to have make both cuts at the 1st stage of Q-school qualifier!! That's a huge step toward my only goal, playing on the LPGA.  At the end of my first year as a professional that I already won my first pro event on the Floride Elite Golf Tour. It was an incredible win! Also, since I have been a professional (2017-2018), I finished T-4th at the Connecticut Open, T-5th at the Tennessee Women Open and have two Top-3 on the NWGA Tour.  In 2016, as an amateur, I won the 2016 Porter Cup and the Quebec Provincial championship. I also finished 9th at the Canadian women's amateur championship and I had the opportunity to represent Canada at the World amateur in Mexico. In 2015, I was ranked as low as 60th in the official World Amateur Golf rankings.  I won the Quebec Amateur and finished 3rd at the Porter Cup in Niagara Falls.  I was ranked 2nd in Canada’s National Order of Merit on my way to becoming a part of Team Canada for 2016. During my career I have received incredible support from family, coaches and friends.  If you know me personally you know that golf is more than a sport to me, it is my life.  My day to day routine is targeted towards a single goal, playing on the LPGA.  I have always made my yearly goals with this long-term goal in mind.  2019 is the year! I have set many high goals and I am totally driven to succeed. We are already one step closer by going to Stage 2 in October. Playing full time requires time, dedication and resources and I cannot undertake this journey to the LPGA alone. Your contribution would allow me to practice and compete with the best in the world and also to really have a strong team around me. Every day, when no one is watching,  I am taking steps toward my dream to play on the LPGA.  Please join me in the team JD. Thank you for supporting this journey. Josee - Team JD
