José needs our help

This is Jose, my father, he lives in Venezuela with his wife and my sister and brother. I get to see him once a year when I go to Caracas on his birthday, he gets so happy to see me every time and I also enjoy the time we get to spend together. Time, it has a funny way to remind us how precious it is. Jose was recently diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer, Transitional Cloacogenic Anal Carcinoma. The news comes in one of the worst times in the situation that Venezuela is going through. Juan, my husband and I, have been supporting my family for more than two years now with basic goods, food and health goods as well as medicines for my step-mother who also has Alzheimer’s. Jose’s treatment includes Chemotherapy as well as Radiotherapy. The Chemotherapy medicines and medical supplies are non-existent so we have to get them from either Colombia or Panama, the Radiotherapy is being performed at a private medical center in Caracas, any other option just is not viable. As you can imagine all of this comes at a high price tag, medicines and treatments, and the usual monthly help of goods cannot stop either. Treatment started last Friday 9-21-18 and it lasts 6 weeks to begin with and evaluate the progress. We need your help so we can provide Jose all the help he can get to provide a good quality of life and have him with us the most possible to celebrate more birthdays. The funds collected here will go directly to fund all of Jose's medical expenses and for his recuperation. we will make sure the funds get to him and my family. Este es José, mi padre, vive en Venezuela con su esposa y mi hermana y hermano. Yo voy a visitarlo una vez al año cuando voy a Caracas en su cumpleaños, él se alegra tanto de verme cada vez y también disfruto el tiempo que pasamos juntos. Tiempo, tiene una manera divertida de recordarnos lo precioso que es. José fue diagnosticado recientemente con cáncer colorrectal, carcinoma anal cloacogénico transicional. La noticia llega en uno de los peores momentos en la situación que atraviesa Venezuela. Juan, mi esposo, y yo, hemos estado apoyando a mi familia durante más de dos años con productos básicos, alimentos y productos de salud, así como medicamentos para mi madrastra que también tiene Alzheimer. El tratamiento de José incluye quimioterapia y radioterapia. Los medicamentos y suministros médicos de Quimioterapia son inexistentes por lo que debemos obtenerlos de Colombia o Panamá, la Radioterapia se está realizando en un centro médico privado en Caracas, cualquier otra opción simplemente no es viable. Como se pueden imaginar, todo esto tiene un costo elevado, medicamentos y tratamientos, y la ayuda mensual habitual de los productos tampoco se puede detener. El tratamiento comenzó el viernes pasado 9-21-18 y tiene una duración de 6 semanas para comenzar y evaluar el progreso. Necesitamos su ayuda para poder brindarle a José toda la ayuda que se pueda para brindarle una buena calidad de vida y tenerlo con nosotros lo más posible para celebrar más cumpleaños.
