UPDATE: My mom has now also passed away today November 7th, 2020 from the damage Covid did. We appreciate any help. We appreciate the love and support and prayers. Thank you all. It has been tragic events and everything all of a sudden and our family is really hurting.
Hello everyone my name is Maritza and my stepdad is Jose Manquera and his wife, my mom is Maria Burciaga de Manquera. Unfortunately on October 15th, 2020 my stepdad went into the hospital and tested positive for Covid. He was released the next day and on October 17th, 2020 he was admitted to the hospital again and unfortunately lost his battle to Covid on October 28th, 2020. My mom Maria was admitted to the hospital on October 21st, 2020. My mom right now is on the ventilator and doesn't know what has happened to my stepdad. Needless to say we need the help from friends and family financially, and prayers for our family. We will be using the funds for my stepdads funeral expenses and funds for his and my moms medical bills that wont be covered by their insurance, as well as future expenses (house bills, unexpected bills, etc.) . As of right now we don't know what is going to happen with my mom but we want to be prepared. I understand things are hard for everyone right now but me and my family would appreciate any and all help or support. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
I have had a lot of people concerned about the fee on go fund me & ask me if I have any other way they can donate. I do have Apple Pay or cash app.
