 Me llamo José Antonio Ramos Arcila y quiero contarles la historia de mi papá, el <strong>Sr. José Luis Ramos Gómez</strong>: un hombre trabajador, resiliente, cariñoso, y el mejor ejemplo que hemos tenido en la familia. A pesar de las adversidades, nunca se ha dado por vencido, y sigue luchando día con día por nosotros.

 En julio de este año, fue diagnosticado con linfoma primario del sistema nervioso central, una noticia que nos cayó como un balde de agua fría a toda la familia.

 Esta no es la primera vez que mi papá enfrenta esta enfermedad. En 2023 le encontraron un tumor cerebral derivado de la misma condición, y gracias a su enorme fortaleza logró superarlo y seguir adelante. Pero esta vez la situación es distinta y mucho más delicada: requirió una cirugía de emergencia y estuvo en coma durante una semana. Aunque el panorama se ve cada vez más oscuro, su fuerza y resiliencia lo siguen manteniendo en pie.

 Los fondos recaudados serán destinados a cubrir los gastos de su tratamiento, su cirugía (una <strong>ventriculostomía de emergencia </strong>para drenar líquido cefalorraquídeo), medicamentos y los cuidados que pueda necesitar más adelante. Aunque cuenta con seguro médico de gastos mayores, hay procedimientos y gastos que la póliza no cubre, tales como la cirugía, los cuales representan una carga económica muy grande para nuestra familia.
