Jose Gil Levasseur Funeral Services

On July 8, 2017 our father, Jose M. Gil Levasseur, took his last breath with my mother in his arms.  He was a loving, dedicated, and hardworking man. He was athletic and loved the outdtoors. His favorite thing to do was to take pictures of sunrises and sunsets.  He was always healthy and strong. He was a man of integrity and was always kind to all, always seeing the best in everyone and everything.  He loved caring for animals and plants; he loved nature.
We cannot express how deeply he was loved by us and everyone around him. 
We are truly, deeply saddened by our loss. We feel robbed of the opportunity to enjoy him longer. He leaves behind a loving wife, who dedicated every second to care for him and love him until the very last moment.  He also leaves behind four daughters, son in-laws, and eight grandchildren. 
We are all hurting and trying to handle things the best way we know how.  We are so grateful for all of our family and friends who have been so loving and supportive.  Some go to facebook to pay their respect in pictures and kind words.  Some sit quietly trying to process the loss. We all are grieving his loss in our own way.  We are hoping to be able to host a vigil and funeral service that would allow all those who wish to say their final words to have the opportunity to do so. We are hoping to be able to pay our final respects to our father with these services and find peace in all of our hearts.
We wish to remember our father the way he was: kind, loving, laughing, enjoying his family and friends, and playing his classical music which he loved so much.
