Jorgé Ortiz

Jorge Ortiz and I met in June 2011 at JV football practice before our freshman year had started. The few freshmen who were on the team early made connections, and me and Jorge clicked almost instantly. His positive and ambitious attitude, and humor matched mine and we been tight ever since. Throughout our 4 years in high school together we formed a brotherhood that will never be broken. Our private talks were some of the deepest, most enlightening, and sometimes the darkest stories of our past; we trusted teach other and never repeated what one brother said to the other.

Jorge was a family man and always expressed his love for his mom, grandma, and younger sister. Constantly working towards his goals and reaching milestones. From bodybuilding, to meal prepping, babysitting, working, and coding Jorge was dedicated to success and devoted to his family and friends.

On February 24th we received the news that Jorge had sadly passed away. The circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear, and it's expected and appreciated that no rumors be spread about what transpired. If you would like to help or get details about Jorge's vigil/memorial/etc. please reach out to his close friends or family if possible. Anything helps as far as donations go, we all know how rough these times can be. ALL proceeds will be given to his mother so that she may allocate the funds. Thank you.
