Jorge Medina Medical Expenses

Unfortunately on 10/19/2018 our beloved husband/father/friend Jorge Medina earned his wings and now is in heaven. He fought a long hard battle of brain cancer and now he can rest in peace with no more pain. He left knowing he was deeply loved by his family and close ones to him. We will still appreciate donations to cover his medical and funeral bills. 

(Ramona Farciert Lucero) wife of Jorge Medina my husband was diagnosed with Astrocytoma stage 2 brain cancer, one of the most aggressive brain cancers there is to be on March 2017. He went under his first brain surgery May 2017, which removed percentage of the brain tumor but it wasn't all sucessfully removed. He then had to follow up with radiation and chemotherapy. It was a long painful journey for him and his family. He had more bad days than better days. One year later when we thought everything seemed to clear up. He ended up in the hospital once again 10/8/2018 unfortunately this time around we found out that his brain cancer had returned. He will have a second brain surgery this upcoming friday 10/12/18. Which the neurosurgeon will perform a prodedure and surgery in my father's brain. After they will target where the tumor is still damaging and try to remove all of it. His oncology doctor has told us that he will still need to continue getting more radiation and chemotherapy to elimanate the active cancer cells. Anyone that had the privilege of meeting my dad knows that he's a religious, respectful, hardworking, and loving husband/father. He has always put others before himself and never hesistated to say no to anyone when they needed help. His biggest desire is to overcome this horrible deadly disease and live longer for his wife, kids and family. These news has taken a big tole on my family. No matter what the outcome maybe we are left with tremendous medical bills. Any small donations can truly help my father's treatment to get better, stronger and another chance to beat cancer. All funds raised will be given to my mother which will directly help pay for my dad's medical bills. 

(Monica Medina) My dad is more than just my dad he's my best friend, my person when I need someone to talk. He's always pushed me to be the best daughter for him. Not only does he have me but he has smaller children that still need him for guidance and love. He has taught my family the principles of what it really is to love God, and understand the process of things. He has people who love him dearly and want to see him get better and stronger. This has been very hard for my family knowing that my dad has brain cancer, but I know that he will overcome any obsticle thrown at him because he's a fighter.
