Jorge Casanova

Things happen in life and sometimes we understand and know why they happened.  Other times, nothing makes sense and there is no rational reason.  The pain that everyone is experiencing right now is sharp and deep.  I can't understand why these things happen and as I sit here writing this, I am in complete disbelief.  We lost one the greatest people I have ever met, the most caring, loving, funny, dancing, story-telling, make you laugh until your stomach hurt, beautiful man.  He would do anything at any time for anyone and if you needed something he was there and provided it in the best way he could.  I have known Steph since we were 10 and Jorge since he met Steph almost 20 years ago. They are my family, maybe not by blood, but we all know sometimes family are those people that come into our  life and stay and love you as if you were. Jorge Casanova will be greatly missed, but remembered fondly and lovingly.  Jorge and his beautiful wife Stephanie never ask for help.  They have an incredible family and everyone is devastated by this sudden and unexpected loss.  Any donation you can make would be so greatly appreciated. All of the money raised will help pay for the funeral costs. Unfortunately, as many of us do, we don't think about funeral costs at our age.  Jorge and Steph didn't have money set aside for a situation like this because they've been focused on raising their 5 children and being a mentor to many more.   We miss you and love you Jorge, there is nobody else that even comes close to you.  Thank you for your support to the Casanova family.

In case there are any concerns regarding how we are using these funds and per Gofundme policy, I am the creator of this account and will be withdrawing the money raised to pay for Jorge's funeral.  Steph's amazing sister and brother-in-law paid for the funeral and I will be withdrawing the money and giving them a check.  I am making up the difference, because the funeral was more than what was raised, which is why I am withdrawing the money so I can pay them back in whole.  Thank you so much for your understanding and support.
