Jordy and Carmen House Fire Relief

This page has been set up by Brady and Chantelle Balicki, brother and sister-in-law to Jordy and Carmen.
On December 26, 2017Jordy and Carmen experienced a house fire that has caused significant damage to their newly purchased family home and almost all of their belongings. The fire will leave them displaced for an unforseen amount of time as they rebuild.
Carmen and Jordy are very grateful their family made it out of the home safely, including their cat Piper. They are also amazed by the support they have received from family, friends and neighbors during this time with a huge thank you to the Prince Albert Fire and Police Services for their quick response and for the support of Red Cross and Mobile Crisis for providing a safe space for them to stay and neccessities for their young baby during the immediate hours following the fire.
Carmen and Jordy are well supported by family, friends and community resources and recognize how different this could have gone for them without the supports mentioned above.
In times like this, family and friends are asking what they can do to help. The intent of this page is to keep friends and family informed of how Carmen, Jordy and their family is doing and to redirect support in a way that can be most helpful.
Brady and Chantelle are asking that if your wish is to support Jordy and Carmen in some way that you can help in any of the following ways:
1. Making a modest donation to this page through debit or credit card which will be used to help the family replace immediately needed items and to help with the costs associated with being displaced that are not covered by insurance
2. By keeping charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and Mobile Crisis in mind at a later time when you are able to donate so a family who is in greater need can receive similar supports that Jordy and Carmen were so grateful to receive.
3. Through sending positive messages of support which mean so much to Jordy and Carmen at this time
