Memorial Auditorium Fund

On July 13, 2014, life changed for all of us! While Jordan and Sadie entered their final destination of heaven together, many of us were left asking the question, why? We will never fully understand why things happen the way they do, but we do know our God is in control.

It was a Sunday afternoon. Jordan and Sadie set out with another couple to spend a couple hours riding four wheelers just off the Des Moines river in Ft. Dodge, Iowa where they lived and attended college. Upon their journey back to their destination, an unbelievable tragedy befell them.

They were traveling approximately 45 miles per hour when a large tree fell out of the treeline and landed on them and killed them. There was no storm or even wind blowing that day as the other couple stated.  As one state trooper put it, it just seemed to be a freak accident.

The tree didn't hit in front of them, and it didn't even hit the four wheeler/ATV they were riding, it just hit them and killed them instantly. Wow, how can you explain that?

On March 23rd, 2013, Sadie wrote in her daily Bible study after reading Philippines 1:20 - "I want Christ to be magnified in my body, either by my life or by my death."

On June 19th, 2014, 24 days prior to their death, Sadie wrote in her daily Bible study after reading Ecclesiastes 9:12 - "We never know when we are going to die, enjoy every moment you have. Life is short."

What an incredible testimony this young couple had for serving the Lord and serving others.

Thus the purpose for this Memorial Auditorium.

Jordan and Sadie loved the Lord, and they Loved the Church.  We would ask you to prayerfully consider a donation to help fund a Memorial Auditorium for a thriving,  growing new church in Midland, Texas where Sadie's father is the Pastor.

Pastor Robb Foreman was given the idea that upon Sadie's request to magnify Christ, either by her life or by her death, there would not be a greater opportunity to do so than to build a Memorial Auditorium in memory of there faithful service to the Lord, and give others a place to do the same, serve the Lord and magnify Christ.

A Memorial wall will be placed on the site with Jordan and Sadie's photo along with all those names who contribute will be placed.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of three million dollars. The goal is to allow this thriving young church to be debt free upon the first service in the new building.

The church is currently averaging 120 in attendance every Sunday morning, with a high day of 152.  The church is currently meeting in a temporary location, for which we call "The Church in the Backyard."

Please help us remember Jordan and Sadie, along with doing our part to fulfil her wishes to magnify Christ by her life or by her death.
