Jordan's P2P European Discovery

My name is Jordan Currier and I am in 7th at Cedar River Middle School. I am a hardworking, responsible student, who last year received the following awards; All A’s, All Presidential Fitness and Excellence in Language Arts. I am contacting you to help me reach a new goal I have set, traveling to Europe in 2015!

I applied, interviewed, and was accepted to travel with the People to People Ambassador Program to Europe. This journey is an exciting opportunity for me to see more of the world, experience other cultures, and gain confidence in myself. I also get to explore ancient architecture, work on a medieval castle and even try escargot!   

My fundraising goal for this19 day trip to Europe is $4000. I know it is a big goal, but I will be working hard to pay my way by babysitting, chores and additional fundraising activities. In addition, I am inviting investors to purchase “stock” in me, Jordan!

Meeting people from other countries can help me appreciate other cultures and see the world in a new way.

I can become more independent by traveling without my parents and having to make new friends.

When I apply for college, I can talk about my experiences and show them the academic credits I will earn during travel.
