Jordan, Celly, and Bee rebuild after the flood

Hi, my name is Jordan and I live in a 2-bedroom apartment with my wife, Celly, and sister, Bee. Yesterday, 5-11-22, the town we live in Big Rapids, MI had a HUGE rainstorm which reportedly dumped 4.5 inches of rain over the course of a single hour. This rain caused flooding throughout the city and surrounding county. Unfortunately, our apartment sits about 2 feet below ground so our apartment filled nearly knee high with water.

Luckily no one was injured, including our pets. However, because the water was so high and came on so suddenly, we lost a good amount of our furniture, electronics, books, board games, sentimental photos, important documents, pet beds/toys, and Bee actually ended up losing her entire mattress and bed frame.

We are asking for help because both Celly and I are college students with limited available time to work and all 3 of us have fairly low paying jobs. We are already operating on a pretty shoestring budget so it would take us many months, if not, a couple years to fully recover from this disaster. We don't take pride in asking our friends and relatives for money, but desperate times call for desperate measures. So please, if you have even a couple bucks to spare, we would really appreciate any donations.
