Jordan was a fun-loving, passionate young man. When he loved, he loved hard and his heart and emotions were worn on his sleeve. Everyone that knew Jordan was delighted by his intelligence, quick wit and his quirky sense of humor. Jordan was a passionate man that expressed, with conviction, his thoughts and feelings. Monday night, October 8, 2018 at 9:34pm, my baby boy posted on Facebook, “I’m straight sick to my stomach.” This was Jordan’s final post. Approximately 30 minutes later, he was gunned down in a senseless act of violence. How could this have happened? Why did this happen? What was my baby going through? As his mother, I am wrenched with anguish knowing I was not able to protect my child from the insensitive cruelty of others. The best I can do now is lay Jordan to rest with the dignity he deserves.

Unfortunately I am in a position I never thought I would be, that of having to grieve the death of my son. With a heavy heart I ask for your help. Jordan did not have an insurance policy to cover the expense of a funeral but I want my son to receive a dignified farewell and I ask for your help during this difficult time. Any donation you offer is appreciated.
