As you know I am now a Senior at Prescott High School. I have played tuba for about five years and am a part of the PHS Wind Ensemble as well as the Pride of Prescott Marching band. I was blessed with a pretty amazing opportunity and need your help.
I was chosen by Dan Bradstreet, the band director of PHS, to join The Arizona Ambassadors of Music for their European Concert Tour the summer of 2019. It is an honor to be chosen to be a part of something so great and I am really excited to be playing in new and exciting places. This will be the 49th tour and it is composed of visiting seven different countries over the course of sixteen days, playing multiple concerts throughout our journey with a four-day extension to Greece at the end. There is also a chance to earn college humanities credits from this trip as well.
The full cost for me to go on the tour is around $9,000 due by November 2018 with an additional $4,000 for other expenses for a grand total of about $13,000. I come from a one-parent income household so reaching out to local businesses is one of the best ways for me to fund the trip. Any donation would be greatly appreciated, seeing as though this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you for your time and your consideration.
