Our Coach, Teacher and Friend Jon Pallesen needs our help.
On Sunday, December 10, Jon suffered a serious thalamic brain aneurysm while at home. He was transferred to the hospital in critical condition and remained in the ICU for several days. Thankfully, Jon is now stabilized and out of the ICU.
Jon faces a long, difficult and challenging recovery. He’s experiencing paralysis and his speech is affected. Once doctors are ready to release him from the hospital, Jon will be in a rehabilitation facility as he puts in the hard work, maybe for months. Jon is no stranger to hard work and we're hopeful for a full recovery.
Jon is insured, but we all understand that he’ll face a significant financial burden. We’ve established this campaign to ease that burden and allow Jon to focus on healing.
At the family’s request, Jon won’t be receiving visitors just yet, but they’ll let us know when that's possible. Likewise, we’ll update everyone when cards or letters would be helpful and uplifting. In these early quiet days, the family appreciates your prayers for Jon’s doctors and his continued daily improvement.
