Dear Family and Friends,
I am reaching out to you requesting prayer and support for my nephew Jonny Parr. Jonny is Jeff and Christine’s oldest son. Jonny has had a slow growing tumor in his brain since 2014. The doctors had been monitoring it with little to no change each year. This year they saw something different and decided they needed to do a biopsy. The biopsy was done mid July and the family got the results the beginning of August. The results were not what the family expected and the tumor is cancer.
Jonny is being treated by a talented team of doctors at Emory in Atlanta GA. His team of doctors chose an aggressive treatment approach involving radiation and chemo together. They are very optimistic and ended the appointment with “Jonny will live a long and happy life!” They stated this is just an illness they need to treat so he can get back to living his life. The family is continuing to trust that God has his hand on Jonny and his doctors during his treatment and recovery.
Many of you have asked what you can do to help, first of all we ask for your prayers for Jonny, his treatment, his doctors and his family. Another way you can help is with a financial blessing. This would go towards the uncovered medical expenses the family is being faced with, gas, food and time off work.
