Help save a wonderful family.

Ruth and Gordon Jones are the kind of people that open their hearts to everyone, adopting four of their five children, and filled their home with laughter,  light, and with love.  They're a family where anyone would feel welcome.
When they moved into our neighborhood, we all liked them immediately.
They have recently been faced with some very difficult challenges that they could not forsee and I have started this Go Fund me page to help them get through this crisis.  Both Ruth and the oldest son Josh have been diagnosed with cancer.  Ruth had to go in for surgery on March 21st to preform a mastectomy, then just two weeks later Josh began having headaches and was dizzy and lethargic and had to have emergency surgery to remove a large brain tumor.
Cancer is not new to the Jones' family.  Josh was first diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was 8 years old. He underwent aggressive spinal cord and brain radiation and chemo. He and his family fought and won but it has now returned. Joshua was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme 4, the most aggressive tumor there is, back in April. The family had some great memories and experiences during the summer because of the kindness of so many hearts. The youth in our ward and stake along with the help from leaders put together a Prom for Josh and the group GENTRI surprised him and sang at the prom.  Josh was invited to Hill Air Force Base to be apart of their Fire training and He also was a special guest during the Air Show got to see a behind the seens look at what it's like to be an F-16 pilot.  Josh also was able to go on a motorcycle ride out to Antelope Island with some biker friends.  Josh celebrated his17th Birthday in July with the Clearfield PD and Clearfield Fire Department coming to his house.  These are just a few of the things that happened that have brought light to this family.
Joshua passed away surrounded by his family on the morning of August 22nd.  He is truly a hero and his light and example have made impressions on so many people.
He and his family have had some great memories this summer because of those that have stepped up and showed their love and support.  Thank you all, the family is truly grateful!

We all love the Jones' so much, unfortunately they need a lot more financial help.  Please open your hearts and help us support this wonderful family in their time of need.
