Hello Friends!
Thank you for your interest! As some of you may or may not know, for the next 6 months, I will be participating in Youth With A Mission's Humility and Hunger Discipleship Training School in Perth, Australia! This DTS will be split into two main parts: the lecture phase, and the outreach phase.
The lecture phase will be three months of encountering Jesus through the study of the Bible, worship, prayer, service, practical discipleship and personal application of truth. This material would be similar to that of a bible school, in addition to special classes that will aid me in learning how to serve on outreach!
On outreach, we will encounter God's power working to transform the lives of those around us, as well as ourselves. We will have the opportunity to participate in prayer, personal witnessing, street evangelism, caring for the poor, building houses, and many other initiatives that are relevant to the country we go to.
The training that we will have received during the lecture phase will be used as we enter the outreach phase. The outreach location could possibly be multiple locations and will be chosen by the group after lots of prayer and research to where the need is. (This certain DTS is focused on Asia, Africa, and Australia)
Now I've already seen God working in cool ways in order for this trip to happen. An example recently seen was how quickly my visa application to the Australian Government was granted. (Normally it would take roughly a month, yet in less than 24 hours after I applied I was granted my visa!!!!)
The funds, however, have not been completely taken care of. I have been working hard to put away funds for this trip, yet I have really only scratched the surface of the funds I will need.
With all Journeys comes the need for Prayer and Financial help. I have faith, that if this is God’s will, it will happen!
I first and foremost ask for your prayer support for continued guidance, peace, and provision. If you choose to donate, it will be greatly appreciated! This trip will get fairly pricey (as you can see) when adding up all the course fees, flights, health insurance, visa and all the rest. Every penny counts!!
