3D printer

El Sol Academy is a dual-immersion charter school in Santa Ana. The school was founded in 2001 and was relatively small with only 110 students but has grown and now has around 1,000 students. El Sol is preschool through 8th grade. El Sol has won many awards as school. The majority of the students are low income, and El Sol is a place where they can excel and go on to a high school and college of their choice, if they couldn’t before. El Sol Academy allows kids a chance to succeed if they wouldn’t be able to otherwise.

I am raising money for El Sol Academy. With the money I earn, I will donate a 3D printer to their STEAM lab. I have always been interested in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) and I think that every kid should be able to experience STEAM. I know how exciting it is to build something, then see it work. It is fun to do, and creates a feeling of pride and accomplishment that makes you want to keep doing it. I really want to help the kids at El Sol have that feeling.
