Jonathan's Road to Recovery

Donation protected

What I'm raising money for: To help cover his mother's living expenses while present by his side

How the money will be used: To pay her monthly bills along with Jonathan's hospital charges

Why this is important to me: Because Jonathan makes the world a better place

On Friday, August 11th, 2017, Jonathan Ottenwalder unfortunately was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident in front of Full Sail University. For those that know Jonathan, he is a very passionate and caring person with a positive spirit and a bright future. He loves his peers and brings the best out of every situation. As of right now, Jonathan is starting his long road to recovery at Orlando Regional Medical Center with his friends by his side, most importantly his mother. Jonathan suffered many serious injuries, such as a variety of broken bones and nerve damage. He will most likely be immobalized for quite some time, and there is still more to be dicovered by doctors. While this may become a very expensive situation, the main focus at the time is for his mother to comfortably be here as she still has expenses of her own. She has to stay for some time in Orlando as she traveled from Miami to care for him. With that being said, she has taken a significant amount of time off from work to be with her son, and we ask for support from friends and family to help her cover the expenses she is still responsible for back home. Anything helps, and we know with the endless amount of support Jon has, he will come back stronger and the same great, loving friend we all know him to be.
