Support for Jonathan’s family

Donation protected
At 10 AM on December 28, 2017 Jenna Flickinger opened her front door to a police officer standing before her. In a tone that was both official and somber, the officer shared the devastating news that her young husband - and father to their 3-year-old girl and 8-week-old baby boy - had been killed in a crash. At that moment, Jenna, at age 30, became a heartbroken widow with two children who would never see their dad again.

Jonathan was the sole provider for his wife and two children. The road ahead for Jenna and the children is challenging with many uncertainties. If you would be willing to donate to help Jenna, Lydia and Isaiah as they face this heartbreaking and life-changing event it would be greatly appreciated. Their journey ahead is going to be a difficult one. We are eternally grateful for everyone’s prayers, love and support.

Jonathan was on his way to work -- arriving early to prepare the day for his team. He had just been hired as the Chief Human Capital Officer a few weeks ago. A few miles from the office, a truck crossed the center line and struck Jonathan’s car head-on. We lost a husband, a father, a brother, a son and a great friend to so many.

From what we've learned, he survived the accident but was badly hurt and unconscious. A woman who lived in a house just off the road ran to the scene, saw he was hurt, and held his head and hand until EMS arrived. The crews immediately started helping Jonathan, but the trama to his head and chest where too much even though he was wearing his seatbelt. Jonathan passed from this world to go be with the Lord while he was enroute to the hospital.

Jonathan accomplished so much in his short 34 years with us. Jonathan and Jenna were married in 2013 by his brother Chris. Jenna and Jonathan brought 2 beautiful children into this world -- Lydia Rose Flickinger(3 years old) and Isaiah Drew Flickinger who is just 8 weeks old.

And that is perhaps the saddest note of all. So many of us lost so much in all that Jonathan was to us. Only 34... so much ahead of him.

His laugh, sharp wit, humor, generosity and kindness that he shared with everyone will always be remembered.

Jonathan’s numerous accomplishments and awards say a lot about his hard work ethic, but above all, he was most proud to be a husband, father and an extraordinary friend to many.

We love you Jonathan. Always with us...Forever loved.
