Help Jonathan & Chris "GO FOR GOLD"

We are excited that JONATHAN CARRANCEJA and CHRIS CRISOSTOMO have been selected to represent TEAM USA this November at the WKC – World Karate Championships in Orlando, Florida.  Both young men are proud FILIPINO-AMERICANS looking for the opportunity to earn GOLD medals for the USA.

Sensei Jonathan is in his first year in High School.  He is active in several clubs at school: Key Club and co-founder of the Karate Club.  He started karate at 4 years old because his Uncle/Instructor - Sensei Chris said that he fits in a karate "gi" uniform.  He has spent many years training for his Black Belt. 

Doing karate has taught Jonathan discipline, respect, and to work and train hard.  He has competed in numerous tournaments in California and Nevada.  He manages a good balance between school and the numerous hours of training and assisting classes.

Sensei Chris is a 5th Degree Black Belt in karate.  He is co-owner and main instructor at Champions Karate Dojo in West Covina, California.  Chris is also co-owner of 10th Degree Weaponry (makers and designers of the highest quality karate weapons).  He is dedicated to his students in helping them to learn, achieve and become the best in the sport of karate. 

Chris STILL COMPETES at local, national and international level tournaments.  In 2015, Chris was able to represent Team USA in Spain and came home with 4 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER medal.

With hard work and determination, Jonathan and Chris have been given an honor to represent our country, The United States of America, as members of TEAM USA.  Unfortunately, the U.S. does not sponsor individuals for the WKC World Championships.  

Along with my family, we are humbly asking for your support to help make their dream, of representing the United States, a reality to BRING HOME THE GOLD!!!
