On Nov 14th, our dear friend Jonah suffered what no one his age could expect - a massive 'widowmaker' heart attack.
Arriving first at Heritage Hospital Lincoln Park, the dedicated medical staff brought him back to life after 20 minutes of shock defibrilation in what would be a very very long night of medical intervention and uncertainty.
With the wonderful care and attention taken by the nurses and doctors later that night at Beaumont Dearborn, Jonah would spend the next few days in a comatose state fighting for his life with his friends and family waiting desperately for a sign.
Hopes and prayers were answered when Jonah finally woke up and, despite having died for 20 minutes during his heart attack, he came back bright eyed and whole souled.
With his wife, Denise, retiring early to take care of her recently deceased father suffering from alzheimers for many years and Jonah facing many months off work to heal, we'd like to do everything we can to help them through a financially tight spot.
This campaign will help him with the long rehabiliation process, medical expenses and the uncertainty of full recovery with his condition.
