Jon Renaud Memorial Fund

On Saturday morning (April 21st) Jon Renaud suddenly went to be with Jesus after suffering from cardiac arrest. We’re all heartbroken, missing our brother, son, husband, dad and friend. His death leaves a hole in our family we’ll never fill.

Anyone who knew him would tell you that he was the most wonderful man. He was a hero and a friend to his five younger sisters. All of us looked up to him, learned from him, and knew that he was our biggest fan. My parents adored him and were so thankful to have had a man like Jon leading the way for the rest of us, setting the tone for what it means to be a Renaud.

He was devoted to his two boys, Ethan and Louie. Fatherhood was his greatest joy and he was a natural at it.  Whether it was through Blues hockey games, Cardinals baseball game, or trips to the zoo, spending quality time with his boys was his favorite thing.

He was so excited to meet his third son (due this October), who they have waited and waited and prayed for.  All of us will do everything we can to make sure he knows what an incredible man his dad was, and how much Jon loved him already.

More than anything, Jon loved his best friend and wife Courtney. He fell in love with her as a teenager and she has always been the only woman he wanted to share his life with.  Jon cherished Courtney's commitment to their family and her willingness to stay home full-time to raise their boys.  The love they shared and the family they built together was his ultimate achievement in life.

We don’t understand why it happened, but we grieve with the knowledge that he is with Jesus in this very moment. If he was writing this he would want that included - death is not the end - as Christians we know and believe that.

If you can, please give to support Courtney, the boys, and the little one on the way.  As they figure out how to rebuild, we want to do all we can to make sure that financial stress is not a part of their burden.
