Help Jon Nash Fight Brain Cancer

Hi, my name Michael Ingalls, brother of Beth Nash.

On May 14th, my sister and her family received news that would completely turn their world upside down.

 

Jon had been mildly forgetful and extremely tired for a few weeks. After 24 hours of constant sleep, Beth brought him to the ER at Wing Medical Center for a quick checkup to determine the problem. After a CT scan they were told that Jon had a mass on his brain. He was sent immediately to Baystate.

 

After a week at Baystate with no real answers, they decided to seek a second opinion at Massachusetts General Hospital.

 

On Monday June 6th the Nash family received the news that no 38-year-old father of three young children wants to hear..a brain biopsy confirmed that Jon has brain cancer.

 

As most of you know, Jon and Beth have 3 beautiful children. Jack 8, Emma 6, and 1-year-old Conor.

 

Jon is unable to work his two jobs, and Beth has taken an unpaid leave of absence from her job to help coordinate his care. His care plan entails him receiving treatment in Boston 5 days a week for 6 weeks.

 

This has put a severe financial strain on their family. The weeks and months ahead will be challenging both emotionally and financially. We would like to help ease some of this burden and show the Nash family how many people love and support them.
