Jon Magnuson's Medical Bill

Some days are harder than others, and today has been a tough one for our little community. Our friend Jon Magnuson had a pretty traumatic bike crash at Baker Creek last night.  He is currently at UT Hospital with extensive injuries, including a broken pelvis, vertebrae, and shoulder injuries. He will be fine, but there’s no question this was a big one.

The purpose of this Go Fund me is to cover the out of pocket expenses of his medical bills stemming from surgery and rehab.

As many of you know, Jon is a co-owner of Harpers, he has a wife, Erika, and two sons, Alex and Tev.  It’s hard to be a part of the Knoxville Mountain Biking community and not know who Jon Magnuson is.  Over the last two decades he’s been a constant both in the bike shop, and on the trails.  If you have participated in a Bell Joy Ride or any number of local events there is no doubt you’ve experienced the volunteer spirit that Jon embodies, he comes to these events on his one weekend day off just to support getting more people on bikes. Let’s see if we can’t make this time a little easier on both him and his family.
