Tribute to Jon Cormier

RCMP Corporal Jon Cormier - originally from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec -had an emotional connection to the majesty and tranquility of the Rocky Mountains, enjoying many hiking / camping trips to various locations within the mountains.
It was on one of these treasured adventures that Jon died of a heart attack (August 25th, 2019 ) while back-country camping with his 3 children. Jon's children did everything they could to help their father in his & their moment of trauma.
Jon was very active with his children in non-structured play as well as coach / mentor and proud father of the various activities the kids exhibited a passion for (music, drama, dancing, hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, horse- back riding as examples).
As a result of the outpouring of love and support for Jon and his children, the estate of Jon Cormier has set up this fundraising page for the benefit of his children. Specifically funds will be focused on fees / costs associated with their various activities (as noted above) as well as travel costs to continue to keep the children closely connected to the Cormier family in Quebec.
Jon's three children are the beneficiaries of his estate. Funds donated to this campaign will be transferred to the Jon Cormier Estate bank account.
